Okay, now that you have that awesome idea, your journey cannot stop there.  You need to turn it into something real and you need to make it exponential.  Oh, and you need to do it in the shortest possible time frame with the smallest possible investment.  Easy peasy right?

 

Fortunately, there are a number of models to help us get there, from Lean Startup to the 10-week Exponential Sprint, to Service Design or maybe a combination of all of them together.  The only problem?  The corporate immune system, with the forces of politics and bureaucracy, is always waiting to strike.  And that is why organizational transformation is hard and why many initiatives fail. 

 

It is the massive complexity of culture, leadership, and people that require just as much investment of time and effort as the implementation of the actual idea itself.  However, there is hope and it has been done before.  Check out how I built a digital program by focusing on guiding principles.
